I love going into someones home and photographing what is happening right in that moment.

Parenthood is such a crazy beautiful journey; capturing that relationship of strain and tenderness, remembering it all, the boringness and then those moments that make you feel like you've hit the highest high and nothing could peel you from your newborns grip, those moments are what I hope to capture. Thanks Weilands, for letting me into your home :)

Nate + Whitney {one year anniversary}

Happy one year Nate and Whit! They've only been married a year but have been together for more than 10 years and have an incredible story that brought them where they are today.  It only seemed appropriate to snap some pictures of them in their beautiful old home that they are completely remodeling from the floor up.  They are two of the most friendly, hilarious, creative souls a person could find and I'm happy to call them friends. They both have a disarming quality about them that makes you feel right a home. Yes, this is a long post, but I haven't blogged in FOREVER so do yourself a favor and grab a cup o joe, get comfy and enjoy :)
